I want to fly free. 

Fly away from my worries, my fears, my own brokenness. Sometimes things hurt and ache and all I want to do is fly free.

Moments like this make me appreciate this hope I hold fast to.

Morning of 12/19/12: Meditating on Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord,

even though I don’t know what lies ahead, God does. God knows. and He is trustworthy… worthy of my trust. haha He even declares it over us, His people, because He knows we’ll worry and try to plan things on our own. hehe He has to make it known to us, explicitly, that He intimately knows us and our future plans because we forget and forget often. silly us.

plans for peace and not for evil

if this is true, “peace is not the absence of chaos, but the presence of God”, then bring it on God. I want/need/long for more of You. My mind gets restless from planning! I just want to sit at your feet and melt in your peace (:

to give you a future and a hope

my future is in your hands, it is Yours to give. it does not belong to me nor of the enemy, but to You alone. I want to surrender everything to you my Beloved. help me?
